How to Measure

To choose the correct size for you, measure your body as follows:

Bust
Measure around fullest part

Waist
Measure around natural waistline

Hips
Measure 20cm down from the natural waistline

With all our products, we try and keep the same measurements, so that if you purchased say two different styles of mini skirt, the fit would be of a similar nature to the other, however, in our more tailored silhouette styles, depending on the fabric that we use, there might be some more leeway regarding stretch. Our current knitwear as an example is oversized, so we would always inform you of any material size change of a designer piece, for you to take into consideration the best fit for you.

Behind the Garment

Part of our first collection the Bethany is a POW checked boat neck flared mini dress, made from a polyester mixture, it features shaping seams front and back to show a flattering silhouette. The skirt panels are flared, the Bethany neck mini dress took three years to oversee, before its release, combining a modern look with a quality tailoring fit.

The Story Behind the Design

During our school days, one of our classmates was extremely shy, she was always the invisible one, never drawing attention to herself, until one night we had the shock of our lives, when we saw her midweek enter the local disco, dressed in a POW checked light grey full pleated mini skirt, with a white oxford shirt and black high heels, all eyes were on her, and she knew it, she was full of confidence, her presence was electrifying, oh and her dancing was superb, the next day at school, she was her usual shy self. So we were always going to produce a Prince of Wales Checked Mini Skirt in one of our collections in homage to that shy girl, so why not be part of the first collection, we worked on different designs and materials, again a lot of trial and error throughout the three years with this project, we have tended to follow our first design brief which was the Charley, it had to be custom made using the right material, the right gsm, the right design, the right price, limited to either 300 or 1,000 pieces only, so that we could retain the exclusivity of this product, as well as the finished item had to make us smile, we most sincerely hope that after purchasing and wearing the Bethany boat neck flared mini dress, you will share a smile as well.

We had decided whilst working on the Olivia Claire POW checked part pleated mini skirt that part of our first collection, would be a small range of Prince of Wales checked mini dresses, so the Olivia Claire and Bethany are part of the collection, a little titbit for you, is that when we release Collection 2 to the world, there are one or two items of clothing, that will in our opinion, perfectly match the Olivia Claire range, especially the Prince of Wales part pleated mini skirt.
