Livvy & Will

Livvy & Will was simply born out of a walk around the block in early August 2021, to come to terms with some recently received news.

A few Shetland Ponies were grazing in one of the fields, which became a distraction to our thoughts. Watching them in a tranquil setting, a eureka moment occurred. Nearly 5 years of planning from that day, brings us to the 14th of March 2026 where Livvy & Will is introduced to Guernsey and the rest of the World.

There are only 195 countries worldwide, our collections will be custom made premium clothing. Limited runs of either 300 or 1,000 units for each design worldwide, so that they remain exclusive.

Our aims are to provide a helpful and friendly service to all, working with sustainable, quality manufacturers.

Our journey really started when we were twelve years old, still at school, ready to conquer the World with our clothing designs.

That did not happen when we left school, as our pathways led us in different directions, we followed fashion at a distance, always dreaming about designing the perfect LBD.

Throughout our journey in life, just like everyone else, we have had highs and lows following different careers, but each day just for a few moments in time, we never forgot our passion for clothing.

Six years ago, we started to really think about starting our own clothing company, but nothing came of it, until a year later, when we had some news that would change our lives completely.

We went for a walk around the block thinking about the news, stopped at a field with some Shetland ponies grazing and the rest you know from “Our Story”.

Our first manufacturer trade show that we attended in Las Vegas was an eye opener for us, especially since we live and work on a very small island named Guernsey, in between England and France.

The trade show that we were attending was called Sourcing at Magic and was held at the Las Vegas Convention Halls, so we found the closest hotel, which was the Fontainebleau, right near the top end of the strip.

We arrived on the Saturday evening and were just blown away with the amount of people having a good time, so we decided to join them as well, rather than heading straight to bed.

About midnight we decided that a short stroll to Ceasars Palace was in order to sample what they had on offer re food wise, so off we went.

Well for those of you that have visited Las Vegas you know what’s coming don’t you, the short stroll turned into a long stroll, all in all with us breaking the journey into other hotels, to take advantage of their air conditioners it took a total time of 3 hours for us to reach Ceasars Palace, and about twenty minutes back by taxi to the Fontainebleau.

Sourcing at Magic was just incredible, set over three Convention Halls with thousands of trade stands, we were averaging at least 40,000 steps a day, the people that we met there were just incredibly friendly and full of knowledge, it was an experience, as we learned a lot from that trade show.

Whilst we were in Las Vegas, we noticed a lot of individuals wearing basically the same style of cheap denim shorts, but that’s another story for another time.

The Island of Guernsey where we live and work.

So, a brief history lesson for all of you that were wondering where is Guernsey? Well, it’s an island in the English Channel located about 30 miles (50 km) west of the Normandy coast of France and roughly 70–75 miles south of the UK mainland. As part of the Channel Islands, it is a self-governing British Crown Dependency, not part of the UK.

To be able to live and work in Guernsey is a joy for us, especially with family members nearby, we are an Island surrounded by the most wonderful beaches and coastlines, wonderful people willing to help you, population is around 65,000 about 24 square miles so not a large Island like its neighbour Jersey.

Crime is low, we have hedge stalls where people sell their spare grown veg and other things, by each stall there are honesty boxes where you place your money to purchase said items, you must visit Guernsey to believe it.

Maximum speed on our roads is 35mph, if you have six cars in front of you, bad luck, you’re in a traffic jam.

All in all, we are proud to call Guernsey our home.
